Blackness just blackness. No light, no nothing. The dark was never something that terrified me, the scariest thing out there was the supernatural. Being part of that club, instantly shrank any fear I had of the dark. I mean sure running up the stairs after just turning off the light was still a must, but it was more instinct than fear. I'm not saying there wasn't anything that didn't scare me, supernatural or not but in this world where you had razor sharp teeth and claws like knives, things tended to be more scared of you than you were of it. This darkness however terrified me; it induced anxiety and emotions that I couldn't even put into words. I knew one thing this wasn't right, after years of listening to my friends talk about the Nex I knew what to expect and this wasn't it.
