Nothing good happens on rainy nights.

Percy Morrison lives by one mantra, nothing good happens on rainy nights, ever. And yet there he was, outside a poorly kept house surrounded by police tape, swarmed with cops, nosy neighbors, bright red and blue lights, the whole nine yards, all with the rain pouring down on his head. Being a hyper specialist was never the man's plan, hell, being a hyper was never his plan. But people still needed The Guardian, and he needed to feed his kids.

Something felt different about this place however, it didn't feel like a normal murder scene. Something was different.

Nothing good happens on rainy nights.

Or do they?

You think your life is crazy? Or maybe just dead boring? Sonic has grown tired of playing the hero - everything feels cliché, meaningless, and hollow to him. He feels lost, as if something or someone is missing. He longs to escape his familiar life. He has friends, who are also his family, yet he still feels empty, like there's a piece missing inside him - a void that no one and nothing can fill. Dates, battles, saving the world - none of it feels real anymore. But he's about to learn the hard way what it truly means to be careful what you wish for. In the realm of madness, a wave is set in motion - one neither he nor his rival can understand or control. Their shared, deranged, and chaotic adventure has no escape. It's a place where the Chaos Emeralds come at a steep price, where logic doesn't exist, where up is down, and nothing makes sense. But within this madness lies a chance - a chance to uncover the deepest, most hidden parts of themselves and of each other, parts even they didn't know existed. What is reality? Does normality exist in the swirling pit of madness? Does it even matter what's normal? What are norms, anyway? What truly matters? Is the world really what's gone insane? Or have they just never been able to see things clearly until now? The truly mad are those who act by their own convictions, who see things others cannot. This journey opens a door between those who've clung to a life and self they believed to be normal. So what comes out of all this? 😘

Sonic X - Project: Genesis {Male! OC} by LepocalypseLB
3 parts Ongoing
Before Sonic and his friends ever appeared in the human world due to Chaos Control, G.U.N. - or Guardian Units of Nations - had already created a life form that surpassed even the likes of the "Project: Shadow" Nobody could have guessed that they, without the brilliant mind of the fabled Dr. Gerald Robotnik, that they could have made such a valuable military asset. "Project: Genesis," designated as Unit-02 due to him being the second coming of the "Ultimate Life Form," was an attempt at making a truly loyal weapon that would win any conflict with just the flick of the wrist. Using the DNA of Shadow the Hedgehog and harnessing the Chaos Energy within his blood, they created a clone, a superior entity wielding abilities to rival that of a god. He was beautiful- perfect even, and yet there was a flaw in his design. For all his power, his purpose for his existence remained firmly out of his grasp, and his "creators" didn't bother helping. Even with the lingering words of Ambertwo... "You're alive, and life is wonderful." Her final words echoed like a never ending mantra in his mind filled with so many different thoughts and questions. When Unit-02 woke up in the real world after being fully developed, the ones who created him never expected for their creation to rebel against them so... quickly. Fire and ruin was brought down upon them as a psychic force greater than any other destroyed the facility as quickly at the Ultimate Life Form's awakening. In the aftermath of the carnage, within the flaming wreckage of divine wrath, a man approached 02 with an offer- to master his power and conquer the world. Yet, this brought no satisfaction to him as he learned to master this seemingly chaotic, this uncontrollable power. He rebelled against this man, too, and came to the realization that humans, not matter who they were, couldn't be trusted, and retreated into the nature and never to be seen again.

Heroes at Heart

18 parts Complete

"I've tried telling them I'm only fifteen. That no sane government would force a boy my age to fight crime. 'But Max, you're a superhero! Isn't this what you want?' Actually, no. I just kind of want to get through high school. Then we'll talk about this 'superhero' business." Max Owens is your average high school sophomore. Well, he tries to be, at least. At fifteen, he's got more important things to do than fight the infamous Vinicus Cauldwell. With his single mother having recently lost her job, Max is determined to help his family get back up on its feet. The publicity and pressure that comes with being a superhero would be too much to handle right now. But it's hard to fly under the radar, when you can literally fly. Meanwhile, Vinicus Cauldwell enjoys the power he has as Murkbourne's most feared super-villain. For once, he can sit back and relax without being pestered by the police. That is, until Max arrives. Vinicus isn't happy about having to fight a child, but he can't let Max find out. After all, super-villains can't be "good people"... Can they? We can't all be born heroes. But most of us are Heroes at Heart. (Based on a writing prompt / story request by tumblr user "fallingivy")
