Flight Future- the only chance to survive The Ember. A plane full of unaffected strangers between the ages of 16-50 are welcome to board, leave behind love ones and fly 100 years into the future to save the human race. They have a mission: recolonise Earth and be the start of the next generation of humans. But only 6 make it off the flight.
A month ago, NELLIE (19) lost her parents in a train crash and does not wish to face the virus without her family. She boards Flight Future to escape by means of suicide, leaving civilisation for good. As one the 6 survivors, Nellie is given another shot at life, but it will not be easy.
SKY (21) is angry that Nellie chose to leave her. Choosing to stay in New York, Sky navigates through the empty streets, meeting others and trying to accept a life changing secret.
Separated, best friends Nellie and Sky accept their fates and journey through a changing world, learning to move on. But even in the future, remnants of the past linger...
