Party Tears

The birthday candle was lit, the ribbons and balloons were strung up, there was people singing the song remembered for generations and there were games to play and presents. They was there, but how come it all sounds distorted? How come the candle's flames seem to be brighter and bigger? How come her party dress was splattered with red? it was a baby blue before but now it's adorned with red dots and splatters. She had done this, but why? The answer can only be answer by this question: what would happen when the candle is no longer burnt but there is still flames?
