I want to survive (Tiger)

A tigress, at home in her small jungle lives in bliss, she's in her prime ,a gorgeous palette of black and orange and a rarity of sorts due to her subspecies being the java, a type of tiger thought to be extinct by the humans but in actuality escaped before their species were completely erased. A small population of the tigers swam to a minuscule island off the coast of java and took refuge there. Unfortunately the island was far too small to support the large carnivores and many tigers ended up being killed by each other in order to secure the best for themselves.

So much blood was shed that eventually the tigers were unable to repopulate quickly enough and their numbers fell, until none, but one was left.

She is the last true member of her subspecies and thrives as there is no competition. She believes that she will live the rest of her solitary life in peace,
but she is wrong,
for humans have discovered her island,
and her freedom and skin are at stake,
she knows of the invaders for her mother before her passed on the story from her ancestors, a story of beasts called humans that have a desire for rare and beautiful things, they are numerous and powerful and she must try her best to avoid them to survive.
