"If you didn't love me in the first place then you shouldn't have married me." She said, her heart sinking knowing that she didn't have a place in his heart. "Do you think I wanted to?" He spoke, turning his face to the side looking at her over his shoulder. "If it wouldn't have been for Zain then I wouldn't have ever!." He stated. She didn't knew how she could muster up so much courage to stride towards him and turn him by holding his hands as she made him face her. Standing on her tiptoes she was a bit his level as she caught hold of his collars. "Tell me you're lying. Tell me that it wasn't just for Zain. Tell me you're doing this because you're angry with me. Tell me that's it's all a lie!" She exclaimed at the end, her tears rolling down her cheeks freely. He looked at her for a second before he caught her hands which were on his collar and removed them, and holding her wrist, he turned it behind her back as he fiercely pulled her closer to him, his eyes staring deep into her. "Even if I am, you have lost the right to ask me that." He stated coldly. "Why!" She exclaimed. "Why did you behave so sweet with me all this time, when you had already planned to end this relation. Why did you filled this void life of mine with happiness and joy. You should have just let me be!" Her eyes held the anger and pain which her heart was feeling. "Just to let you know how it feels to be betrayed." With that said, he let go of her and moved back. *** The only things that mattered in Shumail Ibrahim's life were his friends and his work. His life was pretty normal until she entered his life. He met her suddenly just like that and with just a single look he had fallen for her deeply. Everything seemed magical and to anyone who saw them happy together seemed it was destiny that brought them together. But was it really destiny that played it's game or the mastermind was actually someone else?? Find out in Dear Shumail...Please try to forgive me.

1 of 2 - Shukr series. {COMPLETED} ___ • His African Angel & Her Brown-Eyed Stranger • ___ I whispered to him as we continued to sway to the lyrics. "They say, 'every life is a story', but I thank you. Thank you for being part of mine, thank you for being my knight in shining cloak, Zayan ibn Ahmer." ••• Not all smiles make a happy person. Contrary to the misinterpreted fact that not all horns and forks make the devil. Sadiya Muhammad Yusuf. Having lost a father as well as a brother at her teenage years. No, wrong guess. Many might be stricken of a thought as to her loss of those who were meant to be the most important males in her life. It was not the defunct of any of them. With a sick mother, scales through all life threw at her. Aiming right at the bullseye as a gynecologist. Right when she thought all was falling back into place, she loses her only confidante, supporter. Her only parent in the picture, dead. She never thought her life would be the same. But what happens, when the one being she convinced herself to loathe the most shows erratically after the past comes haunting her present? ••• Royalty screams a lot. Power. Grace. Wealth. Aristocracy. And most of all; Status. In the city of Yemen, comes no exception from the qualities of being Royal. When a prince by name, Zayan ibn Ahmer ibn Ayyub al-Qadim III, like a cliché Bollywood movie, bumps into a lady shooting laser towards the man he finds her in the arms of. Nigeria had always been among his favorites, perhaps even more. Specially after he sets those light-brown orbs on her. Not all angels had wings, and not all Africans must be bound to their continent. Maybe physically and ethnically, but surely not by heart too. You might wonder what happens after, long story short, having a mix of the two is worth every patience. |NEW VERSION| Fatima Abdulmalik 2023. All Rights Reserved ©
