What do you get when you mix a 21st century, crazy, anime lover teenager, who loves making corny puns, a dangerous pirate, who wants nothing more than rule the seven seas, and a spanish lactose intolerance ship mate who's named after a dairy product? A whole lot of adventure and trouble.
Anna Marie Jones is in her senior year of high school. She isn't very sociable, but she has the most three amazing best friends in the world in her hometown of New York City. She always wanted adventure in her life, that's why she stuck to watching anime and reading Manga. Every once in a while, she would read joke books. But it all changes one day when she heads to a blue glowing light.
Now Captain Jacob Bates is a wanted criminal in every part of the world except Antarctica and the Arctic Circle. He's a badass pirate wanting to find the legendary treasure chest of the pirate king. It was foretold whoever found it would be able to get the Chintamani Stone where you are able to get one single wish. He's father made his whole life trying to find that gem, and it's Jacob turn to finish the job.
Our Spanish lover over here is a sick ship mate. He's allergic to dust, cats, dogs, pollen, etc. Most importantly he's allergic to any types of dairy food/products. It's ironic why he's mother named him Queso. He's been best friends with the Jacob Bates since they were just born because they are only a week apart, making Jacob older than him.
Can this team of three help Captain Bates find the legendary stone, so each of the three can get there own wish? Jacob being king of the pirates, Queso being not allergic to anything, and Anna Marie being able to go back home. Piece of cake, if only Anna Marie didn't like pirates to begin with. She hates them!
