When Lucas Merton visits his Father for the first time he knows it's going to be an awkward, uncomfortable and somewhat frightening experience, he does not suspect however that he is stepping into a nightmare. Kidnapped and taken to a hospitol in the middle of nowhere Lucas is told that he has been altered to make him and others like him the next stage in human evolution. His freedom and dignity is stripped from him as he is made to become a test subject for new scientific trial. 
Anna Jenson is also being used in these trails but she has been a member of the project since birth and has no idea of what it is like to be free.
