The devil's curse that has given the Varinski Clan ultimate dominion for a thousand years has finally been taken; the Wilders have finally been set free. The Wilder men must now grow accustomed to not possessing the demons that have lived within them since childhood: Konstantine and Jasha can no longer run with the pack; Rurik can no longer soar the skies; Adrik and Douglas can no longer hunt with sleek lethality and feline agility. No, the Wilders and the Varinskis are now... normal.
Or so they had hoped. Seventeen-year-old Avelina Wilder is a new edition to the family; adopted by the Wilder Clan after being found half-dead and dying still. She is extremely grateful to share the love of her new family; however, she fears that she herself has brought a new wave of pure evil upon their door...
