Decades have passed ever since the Portuls appeared. These gates, clad with beasts called Animas, began appearing all around the world. At the same time, various superpowers awakened and countries upon countries worked hard to nurture those powers. Pretty soon, various academies were opened, guilds were put in place, and the world has drastically changed. 

But for those who weren't born with these elemental powers, the world seemed to have gotten worse. 

This is a journey of a certain boy who wished to overthrow that hierarchy with his own power, despite not having awakened at all.

The author's brother: There has been a change of plans for the story, you guys know those anime where modern meets fantasy and then they go to another world by using a gate like that one anime series called Gate and yes I watch it. Looks like I have to watch some anime to get this story up and running.
