Sonic's finally had enough, he's had enough of Amy who always proclaims her 'love' for him, he's had enough of Eggman, of Knuckles, Shadow and even Tails. But what are the consequences of him loosing control of the darkness within him, when he lets go of his 'Hero' side? How bad could it really be?
Zonic is a respected officer, well by those with lower titles than him, yet he gets pushed around and judged by the warden and the higher ranked officers, and with the sudden shift, he snaps and no one can stop him.
Scourge, known as the Anti Sonic has a change of heart in the middle of a murder, he lets them live and doesn't understand why, but is determined to find out.

during a huge fight to the death with Mephiles Sonic was kicked to the side mid fight to the point where he passed out and went unconscious. Sadly, they did not have any chaos emeralds, which would've made the battle easier, shadow was left to be the only one fighting the big problem, Mephiles...while the others were fighting his goons shadow manages to defeat Mephiles but not without a brutal beat down, even for the ultimate life form he had his limits. When the fight was done, he was left there, two semi broken legs, a deep, deep cut in his torso, and cuts between his left arm. The others who are fighting alongside G.U.N have been left with bruises and many scars, but nothing compared to what the seemingly immortal ultimate life form had. After the battle was done and the world was saved shadow was still crippled, Amy was determined to make sure shadow will be perfectly healed and take care of him for as long as she needed to her motherly instincts wouldn't let it happen any other way also her will as well, and maybe a tiny bit of her early teenage crush on shadow. They grew closer to each other after spending a full week of recovery awkward, funny and sentimental moments that occurred during the week they had spent together also finding out what their true feelings are for one another.
