What if during the battle with the Royals at the end of UnOrdinary's season 1, Remi had gotten what she wanted and exposed John during the fight? What if John suddenly became remorseful after seeing how Seraphina reacted? What if he decided he needed to make a drastic change?
This story explores this idea, with an added twist (read to find out) to make it a little more interesting. It is also completely from John's point of view.
My writing style is not completely normal, so while reading this, try to remember that quotes is for someone speaking, italics are internal present tense thoughts, and normal writing is past tense narration of what is happening.
If you have not read Season 1 of UnOrdinary, you should before reading this.
All the characters in the fanfic are of course uru-chan's. Only the plot is my own.

Urging John to reveal his power and help him break the distance, he does everything in his power to bring John, not into the hierarchy, but to accept himself and his past. But what happens when the jack, Arlo, overhears their discussion? Will John become the Joker? Or will he accept his power with the help of his cousin? That's for me to know, and you to find out.
