Goth Girl meets horse from Hell.

A rebellious girl fails in her attempt at emancipation; a rebellious horse refuses to be properly grateful for a second chance. Can they make team, or are they both doomed for failure?

At 15 years old, and determined to be free of school and rules, Jill was on her way to West Virginia to get married to her biker boyfriend when they were picked up by the police. At that moment, her life turned upside down and all her plans for emancipation ended.

From her life in a Cleveland Ohio suburb, she's transported to wilds of Jefferson, in her father's custody. A father doesn't care about her former life, who thinks she needs to go to school and get good grades.

Her resentment knows no bounds -- she has to ride a school bus, do homework and has been grounded from all social media.

Then she goes to an auction and buys a horse. A very special horse who shows no gratitude, obeys no one and appreciates nothing that Jill does for her.

This is a horse story like no other.

7 parts Ongoing
[ First Completed: 3/4/18 ] Currently undergoing revisions; slowly re-publishing as of May 2024 this is the first part of a three-part series It's a bit of a love story...and also not. Picture this: it's 2016, senior year of an average American high school. Popular kids, not-so popular kids, and the outcast. Enter Bruno Kelly Alano, a girl from halfway across the country with a personality that's earned her a variety of names - but the one she holds with pride, is "Loca." The girl everyone knows as the lunatic. Growing up with a rough life, she's led herself with a particular mindset that she's better off alone. Friends have come and gone. She's built up the armor to take a hit from the rest. Talking, communicating her deep thoughts and feelings just wasn't apart of the tricks up her sleeve. But then, like the age-old saying - he came into her life and changed it entirely. He's the sweetheart, popular kid. Not a bully, not a bystander, but someone who sticks up for others. Captain of the soccer team, everyone's looked at him as "perfect." The only oddity is for the past two years, everyone who knew him since kindergarten feel he's become much more reserved. Withdrawn. Son of some of the wealthiest people in America: Carter "Niko" Talivinci. Little did he know, hitting it off with the school "freak" would impact his life just as much. Two totally different people, from virtually two entirely different worlds. A rich boy and a lost cause. A know-it-all communicator, and a forgotten daughter. Their last year in high school, they learned much more of themselves and each other. That they could love again, heal one another's wounds, and share some outrageous memories involving the law, mental health, laughs, jerks, new friends, old friends, and much, much more. But, will love be enough to rescue her from herself?

A 14 year old girl named Sara in 8th grade starts getting bullied badly. No one wants to hang out with her and she has no friends. Her best friend, Sophie, moved to Tennessee and that was the only friend she had. One day on the way home from school she encounters a beautiful black stallion. This horse was very special and came into Sara's life for a reason. This horse teaches Sara the true meaning of friendship. This story is definitely one you want to read and it can even teach you some life lessons. Some of these things actually relates to my life. Obviously I never randomly encountered a horse but I do love horses and I hope to have one soon. I also get bullied very badly. This book is in 1st person and I definitely think you should read it.
