At Quartz University, there's a new transfer student, Darren Cruz, a kind and quite cheerful student, but when he was 4 yrs old both of his parents died on a car crash that led him to become a quiet, antisocial kid but his childhood friend Rika Fajardo helped him get back up on his feet, after his grandmother heard about the accident, his grandmother goes to his house and started taking care of him, eventually Rika and her family moved away, thus he never saw rika ever again. 11 yrs after, Darren and his grandmother decided to move to Laguna.

At the first day of his new school, as he was walking, he knew that he's already late, instead of rushing he decided to buy a coffee at a convenience store and as he went to the door he bumped into a girl, as soon as their eyes met he didn't realize that he already liked her. There he started his new life not knowing that his life will reach its peak.
