{ The town of de la Maravilla }

Thirteen-year-old Dulcie lives in a small town in the mountains. Her life, although not modern, is peaceful and simple--that until a mysterious sickness starts spreading through her village.
Now she's past her village's borders where she's never gone before, on the run to Isla Tortuga, where there is said to be magic seeds that when planted can heal the earth and people.
