For the past three years, since the battle at Storm Spire, elves and humans had been gathering in differing strongholds. The idea had been proposed by Regent Amaya. The first had been held at Lux Aurea, the second at Duren, the third; The Lunan Citadel.

I tried to keep the characters as close to the movie versions as I could (since Tauriel only appears in the movies and Thranduil's personality is only vaguely presented in the books). I am also including info about what happened to Thranduil's realm after the Hobbit from the LOTR book appendices...
