Imagine Beach City. A normal city, normal people, normal society, a normal school. Or, at least, one can only assume so. Some might say that their school is abnormal because of the people in it. When we use the word "abnormal" to describe Beach City Middle School, we aren't lying. As gems, Pearl, Garnet, Amethyst, Steven, and all the others have a bit of a hard time living normal lives. Steven's hometown has become fun and peaceful ever since the events at Homeworld with White Diamond. But time has passed surprisingly quick, going by so fast that Steven is now 22 years old. The adolescent Diamond soon begins to notice some rather strange and unusual behavior coming from his Gems companions. Could this be the result of previous care and love blossoming into something more personal or is it that Steven's kindness makes him that irresistible? Find out as a story of love and potential lust plays out in the near future of Beach City. Disclaimer: I do not own Steven Universe or its characters.

Steven, Homeworld, Danger... Diamonds... Those words don't sound too comforting together, right? Who said this was a comforting story? For Steven and the gems, things finally don't go right. When Steven is separated from Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl during the attempt to retrieve his father from the zoo, he is found, and quickly identified as a rose quartz gem... and not just any, but the rebellion leader's own son. Blue and Yellow Diamond create a master plan to finally eliminate the Crystal Gems, and Steven is the key to doing so. All they have to do is play a game of emotions, and things will soon fall into their hands, due to a very unlikely snitch. Will Steven be able to resist the Diamonds and escape, or will Steven's Universe crumple because of himself? (Rated T, to be on the completely safe side, but I seriously doubt there will be anything too bad in my fanfiction, as I am trying to make it as close to the style of the show as possible! AU, takes place right after 'That Will Be All'. I DO NOT OWN STEVEN UNIVERSE! REBECCA SUGAR DOES! ONLY CHARACTERS NOT MENTIONED IN THE SHOW BUT ARE IN THIS FANFICTION BELONG TO ME! A young man comes to Beach City, hoping to find answers about his past and where his future might take him after his mother died. There he meets a young boy named Steven and his four caretakers called the Crystal Gems named Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl, and Spinel, with the four of them knowing his mother. What he never expected when he met them was to be pulled into an adventure he'd never thinker he be a part of. He will go up against other Gems from outer space, crime lords, and demons, but he will not face them alone. The odds are against them, it won't be easy, but they're not going to do this alone. Why? Because they are the Crystal Gems, they always save the day, and if you think they can't, they always find the way!
