Fallen from Concordia

Miria Berik is a descendant of the great Mandalorian Jedi, Tarre Vizsla. Her father, Atlan Vizsla, was a Mandalorian, but once he married her mother, Dabrie Berik, he rejected the Mandalorian religion since she helped him realize the warrior ways they resented. They wished to keep their daughter, Miria, safe from the Clone Wars and safe from the radical Mandalorians that wished her dead. Years later, when Miria is 18, she discovers that she is force-sensitive. Her parents take her to the Jedi temple for her safety, and try to hide the past of her lineage. She is placed under the care of Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi, and he is tasked with the responsibility of overseeing her training as a Jedi. She has the hope that one day, she will be able to reunite with her parents and allow them the freedom to live out of hiding by confronting the Mandalorians.

(She is rather old to be a padawan, but the force is very strong with the select Vizslas it lies with. She will become a very powerful Jedi. In the process, she befriends Anakin Skywalker's padawan, Ahsoka Tano.)
