Annie Wilson is a twelve year old girl, daughter of Ronald and Monica Wilson. She has never seen her parents, because her dad had died and her mother had disappeared around the same time, that too when she was a year old. She stays in an underground cellar in her uncle's castle. She has only one friend, her maid Stella. On her twelfth birthday, she discovers that she has earth's magic in her blood and that she belongs to a league of protectors. But to be a part of the community of magic, she must first play a sport. The rules are simple. Slay whoever comes in your way, unless you get killed first. Nobody really dies, but if you die in the game, your way into the world of magic is closed. Forever.
