DISCLAIMER #1: I wrote this story when I was a teen and while some mental disorders are the focal point, they may not be accurate representations as I was far from being a psychologist. There are several things Lynn doesn't quite get about the world she lives in, which makes it harder for her to figure herself out. She is not your average teenager. She's young, intelligent, though something about her is off by now. Everyone is quick to misjudge and point fingers, everything and everyone is so corrupted that she's afraid she'll lose herself among a bunch of wandering, empty souls. Therapy can only help so much, depression is hard to die, and in Lynn's case it's caused solely by the fact she doesn't 'fit in'. She can't really find her place in the world. But there's something really special about her; Her dreams are haunted by a wonderful, mystical place. No one understands her, they think she's off her rocker, that she needs to cut her childish daydreams. But Lynn knows deep in her heart that place really exists, and she'll do anything to find it, with the help of some new found friends. Sunflower Love
Sunflowers bloom and are usually cut once fully grown. They're marvelous flowers. Bright and magical, plus they smell absolutely wonderful. The catch is that once they're cut they might never come back, but if they do they'll never be quite as beautiful as they were when they first blossomed. My Sunflower loves came in all forms; a boy named Michael, a girl who adored bugs, and a picture taken by a guy I knew as Liam. But Theodore Cade Montgomery was determined to make sure he wasn't a Sunflower. A part of Harry died the day his father first raised a fist on him, then another part when his mum passed. A part went along when he slept with his boyfriend for the very first time. He did not say no, he did not say yes either. Then went a part when the fickle thing that hope was crept into him the first day he moved in with his boyfriend Carl, away from his father and the town he despised truly, wishing for a better tomorrow, only to have it torn away from him with broken glasses of a beer bottle piercing his skin the very night because he didn't serve Carl his beer chilled. He died completely when Carl collapsed in front of him, face twisted inhumanely, mouth dripping foam.
