"Tell me you don't want me, Chloe," he placed a soft kiss on the side of my cheek and goosebumps rose on my skin, "and I'll leave you alone."

My heart fluttered, before taking flight. My whole body screamed for his touch that could wipe away the darkness.

Michael had me trapped in his arms, with my back firmly against the wall. His scent assaulted me from every angle, eliciting memories from me that I tried to forget.

"I can't." The words tumbled out of my mouth.

He confused me, I couldn't think, I couldn't even breathe. He consumed all of my thoughts, memories flashed behind my eyes. Of his lips on my skin, his hands in my hair.

Michael tucked a stray piece of hair behind my ear and started tracing lazy patterns on the sensitive skin there. I tried and failed, to lean into his touch.
