"You left, Megan!"

Tears threatened to spill over my eyes. I was so damn tired of having it thrown in my face.

So I laughed. "Yeah, Layton and why do you think that is?"

He threw his hands up. "I don't know Megan! Why don't you tell me? Tell me, why I came looking for you, after my best friend died, only to find out you left me without saying anything."

I saw the honesty in his eyes, the hurt in his face, and my heart started beating faster in my chest.
