Suddenly there was a huge roar. I take a step back covering my ears, my head spins, it is so loud I can't hear myself think. I stand at the mouth of the cave that yawns wide open on the side of a cave. Its big, bigger than a mountain lion bigger than a bear. And I am about to walk into it's cave. But I HAVE to find out what it is. What if there IS a dragon? It will eat me for sure. but I keep going, I just need to make sure it doesn't see me. I walk to this opening as the path split in two edging me across the wall. I will be careful, silent, it will never know I was even here. There is a rocky cliff side and a drop. I look up from my thought and my eyes lock with gleaming golden eyes. I freeze every muscle in my body locks and I can't move. Towering taller than a building stands something I never thought could exist. A dragon. My heart pounded in my ears as my blood ran cold.

Now, Pana and their friend, the timid yet trustworthy dragon Waveskimmer, find one of those stones. Pana has only ever known the frozen northern village they were born in, but when they are forced to flee their home after an unfortunate misunderstanding, they discover that the world is bigger than they could have imagined, and that there are other pockets of survivors out there who are all facing their own hardships. Together with Waveskimmer, they begin traveling the world, meet new people, and try their best to undo the mistakes of the past. But when their own past catches up with them, the fate of the world is thrown into jeopardy once more.
