The Wens were trying hard to close Gusu Academy and build a resort there. When the CEO, Wen Chao sets up a fire to try and destroy the Gusu Library Wei Wuxian is the loudest voice of protest. That results in his home, Lotus Pier being auctioned and his adoptive family bankrupt. Lan Zhan must find a way to save his mate without scaring or scarring him.
