Karanprayag Mahabharata character Karna son of Devi kunti and Sun, the place karanprayag is named in the name of Karna (the eldest son of Kunti).

in this place Karanprayag have Temple of Karna and krishna which is really good and the best thing is that temple and Murti is too big, in first time when i saw these murties i get unbelived that these are big as i can see.

nearly there is sangam of Pinder river and Alaknanda river and pinder river is also called as Karna river .

nearly there is many temple in river bank of alaknanda and pinder , Uma mandir is also nearly placed and many of places.
