Marinette often found herself isolated from her classmates, feeling overlooked and left out despite her kind heart and creative spirit. Her days blended into a routine of school, responsibilities, and the occasional adventure as Ladybug. However, everything takes a dramatic turn when Marinette unexpectedly wins an all-expenses-paid trip to Gotham City for herself and her entire class.
As she embarks on this journey to one of the most notorious cities in the world, Marinette has no idea that her life is about to be transformed in ways she could never have imagined. The trip to Gotham thrusts her into a world of dark alleyways, complex characters, and new challenges that test her in both her civilian and superhero identities.
Surrounded by unfamiliar faces and a city steeped in mystery and danger, Marinette must navigate this new environment while also dealing with the shifting dynamics within her class. Friendships are tested, alliances are formed, and secrets are revealed. Gotham's shadowy underworld and its masked vigilantes challenge Marinette to grow in unexpected ways.
But as she becomes more deeply entwined with Gotham's inhabitants and its own brand of justice, the question remains: Will this change be for the better, or will it push Marinette into a darker, more uncertain path? Only time will tell whether this journey to Gotham will ultimately be a blessing or a curse.
(BTW THIS DESCRIPTION HAS A TON OF SPOILERS FOR THE WHOLE PLOT)
Lila has taken over Marinette's life. Everyone in her class has turned on her, and Adrien has started believing Lila's lies. Marinette is ostracized, but Ladybug isn't. On Ladybug's solo patrol, she figures out who hawk-moth is, but instead of telling people she defeated him, she took the miraculous. At the same time, she was invited to Gotham to present her designs to Mr. Wayne.
She uses Tixx and Nuroo to help build back her reputation but realizes that she doesn't need her old friends. She already has everyone she needs.
(Also, I found the cover art on google and then kinda edited it.)
