The start begins with Ella arriving in Galar, after all sometimes you need a vacation. And what's better than a new region?
Okay so maybe it's not the most relaxing considering she's taking the gym challenge...but still.
Although she meets some more new questionable friends. woot woot.
Though it's not the entire focus of the story, rather some short stories will be included about her other friends.

A young yet talented princess in Alola finally turns 16. Everyone knows that once you turn 16 and you are part of royalty, you have to participate in an event that happens yearly. In that event, you get to meet the other kingdoms and their future descendants. (Y/N) is this famed Princess of Alola, also known as the Champion of Alola, has been here for her first 5 years. During those 5 years, she met a certain boy. A young boy with long, green tea hair who always stayed as her best friend until he suddenly stopped coming. After that, she focused on her school work, trials, and such. Turning 16 scared her. She didn't want to spend a week talking to others, especially since she is a timid trainer. What is this event? It is known as the "Kingdom Week". Kingdoms of all regions meet up in any region they agreed on. Kings and Queens talk about their current situations and such. Princes and Princesses get to mingle along with each other and develop relationships for the future. They also hold multiple challenges and such. One of them being a Pokémon battle tournament. Feeling defeated and ready to go home, they are met with the legendary pokémon Arcues. The god of pokémon could sense their love and despair and gifted them with a fully developed egg. On her fifth birthday, Ben and Jin happily gave her the pokémon egg. The egg had hatched immediately into a Riolu, and Emmaly and Riolu loved each other at once. Peace would not last forever as the Langit family got invaded. Emmaly and her parents were forced to retreat as the two brothers held the invaders off. They were never seen again after that. At age thirteen, Emmaly takes Riolu and runs away from home to start her own journey. Join Emmaly, Riolu, and their new friend Maxx on their journey as they meet all kinds of pokémon, fight all sorts of battles, and search for clues to find out what happened to her favorite older brothers.

As these two students go along their day, they don't bother looking at each other when walking past each other in the halls. This makes Rosa the only person he doesn't talk to, due to a complication in their childhood he regrets, thought never mentions it, but Rosa was easy to forgive and forget, yet still prefers to keep herself away from getting hurt again. When learning that Nate never talked to Rosa before, his friends go far and beyond to help their friendship bloom again. But things aren't taken lightly and everyone soon discovered that there was trauma in their past.
