Set after Chens tournament of elements. Kai has left the ninja on a mission to find himself while Skylor has joined the ninja. But a threat soon rises from the far lands of Ninjago with fire being one of the only things that can harm them.

The team find out where Jay is and try rekindle their lives together. It seems easy sailing finding him and taking him home (definitely not kidnapping him) but what has happened to him? Will he ever remember the Ninja? Will the team be rejoined? Will their friend return to them once more? Master Wu, Garmadon, and the Ninja are all living a good life. Even though when Danger comes they're ready to face it. Jay,Cole and Zane's mom Lilly had died from a sickness so their Dad raised them until Zane's 16th birthday when Dr . Julien had died. The 3 of them ran away from their foster families. Nya was adopted by Garmadon when she was 10 yrs old when her parents died. Kai being the youngest means he's more prone to Elemental and regular outburst. Lloyd being the 2nd youngest also has outburst as well.

Violet and her friends have been invited to participate in Master Chen's Tournament of Elements and find their friend. But, the tournament is a ruse and the powers of the Elemental Masters are being taken away. Can Violet save the Elemental Powers?

After Nadakhan is defeated, everything returns to normal... right? A story that takes place after Skybound and how Jay behaves and the others try to figure out what's going on.
