Lillian has a choice to make. She can take the long way home, which would mean walking in the dark and the rain for 30 minutes, or she can take a shortcut through the graveyard and out the forest on the other side.
    
    Neither option is very appealing; but, if she doesn't get home soon, her husband might think she's cheating and she'd have a far worse fate than anything she could find in the graveyard.
