Briar comes from a lineage of noble knights, and, though she is not one herself, she has been trained well by her renowned brother, Sir Peterkin the Mighty. One day, a royal messenger comes to her family's home, and announces that Peterkin has been taken hostage by the Hellborn Triad: Three powerful demon brothers who have been tormenting the kingdom of Kateon for decades. When everyone leaves her brother for dead, Briar sets out to the Burning Badlands to take him home. But while journeying through the harsh desert, she encounters Rezrath; the eldest brother in the Hellborn Triad. What will Briar do when the all-powerful demon collapses into her arms?

In this world of supernatural beings, power, and greed act as a catalyst for violence and war. Humans are subordinate in every sense and reside at the bottom of the hierarchy. Vampires hunt them for sport, and other beings condemn them to forced labor. Lycans are the only creatures to offer humans peace and solidarity, making their territory a place of refuge for the dwindling species. Most humans live under the security that lycans are honorable enough to keep their word. Thus, they follow their rules and live a quiet and quaint life. Humans can even choose to work at the royal castle for wages.
So, what happens when a cautious eighteen-year-old with a big heart and humble personality decides to seize the opportunity?
Sayora is sensitive, selfless, soft-spoken, and empathetic. She's like a beacon that attracts everything in her path. That notion becomes even more apparent when she arrives at the castle to obtain a position. However, her life takes a drastic turn shortly after her arrival, and Sayora is propelled into a world of lust, sex, violence, danger, history, mates, and carnal desires.
Powerful secrets get unveiled, jealousy arises, and the threat of war looms over the castle. Lycans hold most of the world's power, and their enemies will stop at nothing to dethrone them. Amidst all the turmoil, Sayora learns she's not as innocent as she once believed. . . . . . ⚠️ Read at your discretion. I could see him grinning out of the corner of my eye. He was enjoying this far too much. "Just do not ever scare me like that again, Jasper," I fussed. He winced as I moved the cloth across his ribs. "Or what," he toyed. I stopped and glared at him. I stammered, trying to think of something clever. "I- I'll. I don't know, but I'll think of something." Before I knew what was happening, Jasper got his arm around my waist and pulled me into the tub with a splash. "Jasper," I managed to gasp. In a world where humans and orcs have raged war with each other for hundreds of years, 22-year-old Lady Brenna of Blackwater Hold was sent away to the Northern Orruk horde, something that was unheard of. Her father, King Corvus, pledged her to the chief of the Northern Orruk Horde, Jasper Bloodborne, to save his own skin. She could not understand how her father could trade her away to these beasts. Were they beasts? Her father taught her to believe this, but she would learn she had severely misjudged them. She would find more than just her new place in the Northern Orruk Mountains.
