Josh and Katie are real people, and others might be as the story goes on. Oliver and Makayla are fake, purely my imagination.
This story is set in present time, so if you know who Jatie Vlogs is, just pretend that happened 16+ years in the past.

No I do not know about adoption or a life of a kid from first hand so I may get some things wrong. While not every foster/adopted kid is like North, Asher, or Ollie, it's still to help bring awareness to the situation that is affecting our world.
