Discovering Kiante

Eighteen-year-old Amoni Robinson has finally escaped the shadow of her abusive mother, moving to New York with nothing but her camera and a hunger to capture the city's raw, unfiltered truth. Nights are for photography-the neon-lit streets, the hidden lives, and the stories most people ignore.

Twenty-year-old Kiante Green knows the streets better than anyone. Raised by the harsh rules of survival, he now protects the girls in his care with a mix of strict control and unexpected kindness. Powerful, commanding, and impossible to ignore, Kiante is a force that the city bends around-but even he has a side no one sees.

When Amoni's lens brushes against Kiante's world, two lives moving in parallel collide-though not yet. As she documents the city's shadows and he maintains his grip on the streets, both are drawn toward something neither expected: trust, vulnerability, and a connection that could change everything.

Danger, desire, and the struggle to survive in a city that never sleeps-this is a story about finding light in the darkness, and discovering the man behind the legend.
