Alliyeh is a fragile soul. Her father walked out on her, but still sends his money thinking that it fixes everything, her mother is emotionally vacant until she hears something bad about Allie, her brother is in Iraq serving for the U.S army, and her heart has been shattered one too many times to be "in love" again.
