Humanity used to thrive in 2035 until a group of scientists started playing God. This science team was recruited by all the top world leaders and they've begun receiving demands for a super soldier, and they began experimenting on animals, which gave the scientists expected results, but like all experiments, there was a chance for failure. The humanoid animals, or Anthros for short, started getting smarter, faster than the scientists expected, or reacted. The Anthros broke free and took what was left of the 'White Mist,' the substance that created them, and put it into the planet's air supply. Long story short, most animals worldwide have begun transforming into Anthros, and started devastating the world's militaries before attacking cities. Humanity is now facing extinction with their last millions while the Anthro civilization is over 2 Billion strong and counting. The war between Humans and Anthros has lasted for over 50 years, and while humans may be disadvantaged against the Anthros higher strength, speed, endurance, and intelligence, they still beat Anthros with improvisation, adaptability, and tactics. The war has destroyed all four Eastern continents, leaving behind a creature both Humans and Anthros call Reapers, who are husks of the person they were. The Anthros have near complete control over North America and are fighting Humanity in South America, but the main human bases are located on the Hawaiian islands. With death seeming inevitable for human kind, can nothing stop humanity from extinction? Zero has just graduated from high school with good marks and a scholarship. His family wanted to celebrate, so they said they would wait for him. He went back to grab his wallet, and as he turned around, he started falling in a wormhole, closing afterwards. Dated a tennis player, and broke up with her. Fought a giant alien, as a giant alien AGAIN, this time in Tokyo. Killed an interdimensional demon along with my archnemesis. And made friends with a Slimebiote named Skurd. Now me and my friends are unlicensed heroes who defend the world from destruction. Mainly because it's the right thing to do, but partially to show Union Academy what kind of hero I am now. And I can't wait to see the look on their faces." The Autobots and the Decepticons have been on the planet known as Earth for nearly 56 years. The fight between them is still going strong, but with some differences. Cybertron was reclaimed by the Autobots and Transformers of both factions now have jobs when not fighting fierce battles. During a battle for the Space Bridge, Megatron clashes with the Darkspark against Optimus Prime's Matrix of Leadership, the opposing artifacts destroy the other, using the knowledge and history of both artifacts creating new matrices. And the Forge Matrix, born from the knowledge and memories of Solus Prime ends up in the hands of Chip, a handicapped boy with a genius brain and a love of all things mechanical, he's been enamored by the Transformers since they arrived on Earth. While the 21st century has seen great advances in technology due to the Transformers, there has also been a rise in criminals using robots and incidents involving bio-monsters, as well as other previously unheard-of disasters. So Chip, using the Forge Matrix, sets out to create the Braves, a group of Transformers born on Earth who fight for Earth's safety while the Autobots and Decepticons fight between each other.

She takes the opportunity to scour her birth galaxy for hints toward a mysterious trait about herself: her ability to create dimensional rifts at will. Along the way, they are joined by Ratchet, Rivet, Clank, Kit, Talwyn and others who guide them around the galaxy, sometimes sharing more than just adventure.~ So, this is a wildly canon-divergent post-RA alternate universe. For the record, I am aware Ratchet and Talwyn are canonically dating (as far as I'm aware), but for the purposes of this AU they broke up some time before Rift Apart. The title is subject to change, however it's been like this since I began writing the tale back in 2019. It has gone through an ENORMOUS rewrite prior to posting. Chapters are going to be semi-oneshot format. They may be written at different times but will be part of the larger plot.
