Emily never asked for her life to change so drastically. She liked her apartment and school in Chicago, but when her father and his girlfriend Jennifer moved to South Dakota to start a new life, she was dragged along with them. It was the beginning of summer and she dreaded having to spend time with Her father and Jennifer, but at least she had Jacob, her neighbor who lived in the woods with his family, but there is something off about him. If having to deal with Jennifer's drama and her cousin's strange friendship with Jacob wasn't enough, there was something else in the forest behind her aunt's cabin in Deadwood. Something dark and dangerous with a toothy smile big enough to give her nightmares for the rest of her life. (All pictures in this story are pictures from google which I edited)

I almost choke on the piece of chocolate covered strawberry as I saw Alpha Liam from the Crimson Fangs Pack come walking towards me with a smile. I start looking behind me to see if he's really looking at someone else but I notice it's just me standing here. Once he approaches me, he holds out his hand. "May I have this dance?" He asks in a deep husky voice. I stare at him in shock and then quickly snap out of the trance that his gorgeous green eyes has captured my attention. "Y-Yes." I reply softly as I place the strawberry stem down onto the napkin on the table and place my hand into his as he begins escorting me out to the middle of the dance floor. I can feel everyone's eyes staring at us as they're smiling except for my brother's and his pack along with most of the girls' eyes that are shooting daggers at me right now.
