Eva lives a lonely life of torment, beaten daily by her abusive alcoholic father she sees no route for escape. Her mother passed away when she was young and she was basically raised (if you can call her that) solely by her father.
She spends her days walking on egg shells trying to manage school and keeping a home together. She has no one to turn to for help, no one to console in. This is probably due to the fact that she has worked very hard at making herself invisible.
