17-year-old Jacques lives a quiet, boring life at home. Quite literally, since he gets home schooled. However, he and his parents don't really get along that well, so living most of his life at his house isn't as peaceful as he would like. But one late night after a fight with his parents, he finds that maybe his house is bigger than he thought, in a place where he least expected it. His mirror. An entirely different world awaits him behind that piece of glass, and Jacques even meets someone who makes his boring life at home so much better.

Until you find your soulmate the world is in black and white until you meet your soulmate. When you turn 18 a tattoo of your soulmate's first word to you appears on your arm.
