Audreelle Bennet is the usual average teenage girl others see at school.....well, for the most part. The only thing that's stopping Audreelle from being completely average is the curse she got put on her when she was 17 in the year 1890. But not the, "When the clock strikes twelve, the magic will be undone" type of curse. But the, "You shall remain seventeen forever" curse. The curse can't be undone since no one does dark magic anymore. So Audreelle just has to keep moving state to state every year and changing identities every year. Only because she doesn't want her loved-one's sacrifices to go to waste. - It's the year 1980, Audreelle has now been alive for one hundred and seven years. The past 90 years have been nothing but the same. Being a senior in high school, either ending up in the popular or not really popular category, and then disappearing when the school year ends. A small town in Indiana is Audreelle's next pit stop. Audreelle believes this school and year won't be any different than the others. But this time, she turns out wrong. Ever since Audreelle got the curse on her, she's wanted nothing but her life from before. Audreelle wants her family back, her friends back, and her lover back. But she's never found anything like that, not till the small town in Indiana gives Audreelle what she's been longing for. Audreelle finally found people she can call her family, people she can call actual friends, and she finally found someone who can be her lover.....well she found more than one person to be her lover. But when the school year ends what does Audreelle do? She knows she'll never find something like this again, but will she risk her own life just so her heart can be complete? Or will she put her heart on hold and continue being the girl who "runs away" every year? 4-23-20 !!

This is a rewritten version of Golden Boy! It's completely new except for the names of the characters. Everyone has that one thing that they fear the most, that if they ever had to go through it, it would traumatize them. For Elliot, it was having someone break into her house. She's been scared of that ever since watching Michael Myers stalk his niece from outside her window in Halloween, a movie that she shouldn't have watched when she was 8 years old. Elliot faces her worst nightmare when a strange person with unexplainable abilities finds himself in her room, uninvited on Halloween night. She wakes up the next morning with no memory of it. Elliot's senior year was supposed to be above average, in the sense that it would actually be fun compared to the first three years of high school. It was the last year she was going to spend in her hometown Ardsley, New York, before moving across the country to LA for college. She was going to spend it going to parties with her best friend Camilla, eating fro-yo every day, and prepping for prom and graduation. Elliot would never have guessed how a certain Golden Boy would have a hand in ruining her senior year. Now she was stuck uncovering the truth as she's dragged into a whole new world she never asked to be a part of, with a boy she's never asked to become friends with, and possibly gain a new outlook of life that might just keep her in New York for longer than she would have liked.
