A foreign exchange program has been introduced to Ponyboys high school . Ponyboy is chosen to go to Australia and he is allowed to if a student can come from Australia. Darry permits this to happen and Ponyboy is off for 3 months. The pupil who takes Ponyboys place at the Curtis house is full of surprises. Darry and the Girl slowly fall for each other but will love be enough to keep them together.
