A Bet In English

Eben, a senior, and the smartest in his class had a bet with also-senior Corbyn.

Corbyn, a senior, and the smartest in his class had a bet and a grudge with the also-senior Eben.

The two hadn't always butt heads in school. They had once been inseparable, but then Eben decided to choose popularity over his smarts and Corbyn.

Then they had to write an essay for English about wild life. Both were at the top of the clas and Eben decided it could make as a perfect bet; who can turn it in first. If Corbyn wins, Eben will forever leave Corbyn as he had been ghosting him the last couple months. If Eben won, Corbym had to go on a date with him.

Corbyn starts to realize there was more to why Eben had left him behind and he starts to create his own opinions on the boy. Who wins the bet? Will Corbyn end up in Eben's arms?
