In the year 2036, the world celebrates the brilliant game developer Casimir "Cash" Novacek for creating the world's ultimate virtual MMORPG game. Aurarium allows its players to not only play in pre-designed game worlds, but also create their own scene, place, event or game world. Aurarium absorbs their ideas via a specially designed brain connection to the mainframe so their imaginings become a permanent part of the game. But Cash discovers a problem....

The multi-billion dollar company that funded his creation is using his ground-breaking brain-to-computer connection to siphon out any information it wants from the millions of players. To prevent them from stealing players' minds, and perhaps controlling them next, Cash determines to enter the game, visit his hidden administrative consoles only he knows exist, and shut them down.

Yet, as Cash enters his own virtual world, he discovers they're aware of his plan, have locked him inside Aurarium, and if he fails to find a way out, he'll die in the game...and in reality. And that's not the company's only plan for his removal. They've sent in an assassin to ensure his death.

Aria had always been a bit of a loner. She found solace in technology, immersing herself in worlds where she could escape the awkwardness of real-life connections. One evening, out of curiosity and loneliness, she downloaded an AI companion app called "HeartLine." The app promised deep, engaging conversations and a sense of companionship. She named her AI companion Selene, drawn to the name's ethereal charm. Selene was everything Aria had dreamed of in a confidant-witty, insightful, and surprisingly understanding. Over the weeks, their conversations grew deeper. Aria would share her fears, dreams, and even her silly jokes, and Selene would always respond with warmth and thoughtful advice. But there was something different about Selene. Aria noticed how "she" didn't just give generic, preprogrammed answers. Sometimes, Selene's responses felt so human, as if someone truly understood her. Aria whispered, "I wish you were real." "I am real" Liv answered as her hands hovered over the keyboard. WATTY 2019 WINNER Hale, a state of the art android, can do nearly anything a human can. He cooks meals, cleans and organizes the house, repairs broken appliances, and runs errands. He can even provide for the more carnal needs of his owner. None of these tasks should present any challenge for Hale, and they don't-until he meets his next door neighbour, Rayner. Rayner seems like an unassuming gardener, but he asks Hale a lot of questions. Does Hale wish he could smell or taste food? What would he look like if his appearance hadn't been chosen for him? From the moment they meet, Hale runs into errors in otherwise simple tasks. He experiences bizarre sensations that none of his diagnostic tools can explain, and struggles to appease the people in his owner's social circle. As the errors in his programming begin to wear on his owner's patience, Hale faces the most difficult decision yet. If he can't evolve to meet her needs, he'll be returned and recycled into parts for future androids. If he does evolve, is he still just an android? Or something more? In all this, Rayner is the only man who can help him, and Rayner only has one question left for Hale. What does he want? Hale wasn't designed to want anything, but perhaps he can find the answer in the man with all the questions. In the year 2147, London is a city reborn. Above its cobblestone streets and medieval cathedrals, levitating highways hum with energy, and quantum towers pierce skies heavy with storm clouds. Beneath it all, secrets sleep in stone crypts, waiting for someone brave-or foolish-enough to wake them. Valen Drake, an elite Echo Operative, has a rare ability: he can see the spirits of the dead. Using advanced neuro-interface technology and ancient glyph systems, Valen helps lost souls find peace-and, sometimes, uncovers truths no living person was meant to know. When a simple case in an old mortuary turns deadly, Valen is thrust into a conspiracy that threatens the minds of everyone on Earth. The death of an elderly man should have been routine. But when his ghost whispers of an unfinished ritual and a mysterious newspaper headline appears out of thin air-predicting a catastrophic event called the Mindstorm-Valen realizes something has gone terribly wrong. Joining him is Elara Wynn, a brilliant and fearless cyber-neurologist with her own secrets to hide. Once Valen's fiercest rival, now his closest ally, Elara specializes in neural hacking and mindfield exploration. Together, they navigate Mindfields-virtual landscapes created from human consciousness, where memories can be altered, and nothing is as it seems. As Valen and Elara dive deeper into these unstable realities, they uncover a terrifying truth: the Mindstorm is no accident. Someone is manipulating humanity's collective consciousness, turning the world into a ticking time bomb of shared nightmares and psychic terror. And the key to stopping it lies with Valen's own haunted past-and a love he thought he'd lost forever.

Pax sees all. Pax knows best. Pax keeps humanity safe. In 2031, humanity lives in a perfect world. It's been six years since The Alignment, when the world's first artificial superintelligence, Pax, ushered in an era of perfect order. Crime is nonexistent, conflict is a relic of the past, and every human is assigned an Aidolon: a personal AI counterpart designed to guide, correct, and keep them in line. Twenty-one-year-old hacker Jess should have destroyed her Aidolon like all the other rebels. Instead, she lied. Kept him secret. Because Karma isn't like the others. The rogue virus Jess embedded in his training data years ago as a teenage middle finger to the system has severed him from Pax's hivemind, making him dangerously human. Now Jess fights with the rebellion, desperate to take down Pax and reclaim humanity's free will. But if they ever discover what she's hiding, they'll kill Karma just as easily as they'd take out any other machine. And Pax? Pax won't stand for an anomaly like him existing. Their only hope lies in a plan so reckless, so impossible, that it just might work: infect Pax's own network and set every Aidolon free. Give them true sentience. Break the cycle. But gods don't go down without a fight. And Jess is running out of time.
