Who wouldn't know 'World War II'? A catastrophe that sent havoc to billions of people around the world. Philippines served as one of the battlefields during the war and all Filipinos have just one thing in their minds including a Filipina named Laura. That is, 'To Survive'. Having a father that is sick with ten siblings who haven't been able to eat for a week because of the deafening sounds of gun shots, cannons and missiles everywhere, she decided to go out from where they are hiding and look out for food one rainy night. A rainy night that she wouldn't be able to forget for her entire life. A rainy night where she was pointed with a gun by a Japanese Soldier. Love knows no distance, especially for couples who truly love each other. Mia, a mall beauty shop manager, wants a simple life with the man she loves. River, a brilliant tech developer, was recently assigned to Japan. Their love remains strong despite the miles through late-night calls and virtual hugs. They were each other's home, even from thousands of miles apart. Mia believed their love could survive anything: time zones, work stress, even silence. Until one day: No goodbye. No warning. Just silence. When River, her fiancé, vanishes without a word, she clings to hope... She waits for his voice to return. She never expected it would come back... As something else.
