England has fallen under the shadow of Vortigern Pendragon's rule. Using the forces of forbidden magic, the ruthless and ambitious king will stop at nothing to keep his power. Yet the forces of destiny and Merlin will not allow Vortigern to continue his destructive reign, the Bay of Camel has receded its waters and have revealed the long lost sword of Uther Pendragon trapped in a stone. Only the Born King, King Uther and Queen Igraine's son and rightful heir to the Dragon Throne can pull Excalibur and claim his birthright. Yet the young, rough around the edges, long lost heir Arthur is anything but princely and he will need the help of many allies if he is to master Excalibur and sit on the Dragon Throne.

This is a loose retelling of the 2017 film "King Arthur Legend of the Sword" where I have expanded or added some plot points, characters, and plan on making this the first entry of a series based on this universe.

**Re-editing in progress: Chapters 1-9 re-edited as of17th July 2024** A story about one of the most famous female characters in historical legend; Guinevere. This is a tale through the eyes of this young girl, destined to be the bride of the great King Arthur. An alliance with Camelot propels her unexpectedly into a life she could barely have dreamed of. Guinevere always knew that one day she would need to fulfil her responsibilities as heir of Cameliard, but never with such a man as Arthur Pendragon. Her resolve and dedication to her calling are also tested when she meets handsome knight and Arthur's commander, Sir Lancelot. Will she lose herself to this knight before her journey can even begin, or will her resolve and sense of duty win out?
