Born to Rule

Since Mary was a child she was destined to be the next great ruler of Scotland. Not only because of her royal birth but because her parents tragically died when she was just a baby. Mary has been raised by her grandmother at Scottish Court and groomed to be queen. Mary is kind and gentle yet strong and independent. Now it is time for her to enter a new challenge at French Court, finding a husband, even though she has a man that she loves.

Francis has resented that fact that he has never lived up to his father's expectations, no matter what he does it is never enough. He is a natural leader and a good man. His whole life he watched his father cheat on his mother with every woman that came to court, he promised himself to be better than that. Francis wants to stay loyal to the woman he loves. Though now, even though he doesn't want to, he must step up to the challenge of courting a Scottish Princess.
