Hanori is a land of magic and metal. A vast continent full of many different races and ideologies. Humans and their reliance on technology have begun to create a tear in the society of the world- and no one knows this better than humanity itself. Regulations and bans have begun on firearms, vehicles and more. People fear what they do not know- and to the people of Hanori, magic is what they know.
This world would be shaken once again when Jason, a cybernetically enhanced teenager, wakes in the middle of a secluded forest. A symbol of what technology is capable of, Jason now finds himself with a group of fledgling adventurers and battling a warlock hellbent on destroying all modern technology. Will Jason ever figure out what turned him into what he is now? Whatever the case may be- he must push forward in order to save his now Metalborn life.
