It isn't until two mysterious men claim they need her for a private investigation that her life takes a dramatic turn as she enters an entirely different world.
When she meets Rueben Andino, it seems as if life as she once knew it ceased to exist.
The werewolf they call the Skin Walker was cursed with having to suffer all his days knowing that he didn't deserve a Luna. Each time he thought a woman was destined to be his, she was viciously killed by his own hands. Having no control over the attacks, he knows there is no way his curse could be reversed.
