Melissa Peterson, daughter of Ray and Carol Peterson, lives a pretty typical suburban teenage girls' life in the year 1989. Spending most of her time with troublemaker and best friend who lives only across the street, Ricky, they find themselves spending their summer chilling out together. Until the mysterious family moves next door... Ricky and Melissa find themselves in the midst of the shenanigans that Ray, veteran Rumsfield, and Art, get themselves into as they investigate the odd new additions to the culdesac who may or may not be murderous...
