Life in the slums weren't all that bad, although there are alot of problems, one of the most common being blood-sucking vampires who think they own us and decide to drain us the second we're spotted.

That's why I had chosen to become a vampire slayer, sure I'm no Buffy but I have the attitude and strength to be one. Since my highschool had been shut down cases of people I'd known and happen to grow up with had come up out of the blue saying they'd gone missing and found a week or maybe a month later dead.

This is what drove me to become a slayer, I'd had enough of this, innocent people were dying or being kept as portable bloodbags for this things. Its disgusting, even local woman and girls were throwing themselves at the vampires; offering themselves to them.
