Do you still remember the story of the Noah's Arc?
It's about a Great Flood that happened thousands of years ago. And just yesterday, the second Flood occurred -- devastating everything on Earth. The world was now a vast space of ocean: no island, no trees, no land creatures were there to survive. Sebastian was the only man left wandering with his boat, at least to his thinking. Unknown to him, under the water were creatures who lived with the humans even during the old days before god created Eve and Adam.
Unknown to the humanity, mermaids had existed even during the days of Noah. They were refugees from the first Great Flood.
