Raised to be the perfect killing machine, Shadowstorm is a vicious murderer, a notorious villain to the Autobots, a respected member of the Deception ranks. She has never questioned her purpose in life, for she knows who she is and why she was created.

Her name is Nightshade. She is a loyal Decepticon. The Autobots must be destroyed. But there is more to life than fighting, isn't there?

Raised to be the perfect killing machine, Nightshade is a reluctant murderer, a tragic lost cause to the Autobots, a failed experiment to the Decepticons. She longs to discover a life outside of the war that is the reason she exists in the first place.

But what will happen when a wrecker joins the team Prime? She hates wreckers! Why? Because of the stories Ultra Magnus once told her AND because she had a fight with him back on Cybertron. She has to learn to live with the wrecker, but something changes. She changes. She starts to feel something to that wrecker and can't get him out of her processor. But then something happens. What will she do when Ultra Magnus appears in her life again? What will she do when she finds out her old friend's life signal, the only thing that didn't betray her back on Cybertron? What will happen when she is being trapped on the Nemesis? Shockwave changes her. Then Predaking comes. She is turned into him. She doesn't know what to do. Will she deny both mechs and continue alone? And what will happen when something unexpected strikes her in the spark in her darkest hour??
