And while Nickname has the Decepticons chasing him, Alias has a group of human sized metal warriors that seem endless and relentless chasing her. (Later revealed by Ratchet as power hunters from early Cybertron.) Oh, and did she mention her metal wings? No, oh well... Once they meet the Autobots though, they seem to have found their peace, until they decide to help the Autobots of course. I mean, after Alias tries to kill them. Megatron isn't a very nice fellow per usual, and he had already stumbled upon the bounty hunters chasing Alias and claimed himself their lord and master.

For a seemingly lonely, and homeless girl, meeting the autobots is set to change her life forever. However, things are not as easy as the autobots first learn. Especially as they find her to bring her back to the base for safety, it becomes immediately apparent that she is different from humans. And she also poses a danger to the humans they have taken in for safety. However, they learn that she is the way she is because of evil, cruel men who kidnapped her as a toddler and forced her to endure cruel experiments to the point she is no longer considered a human. Especially as she has a side to her that requires her to hunt for a specific food source. And the autobots learn that she has no choice when the beast side of her fails to resist the scent of fresh meat. And unfortunately, it also shows that the girl has zero choice in the matter. Despite that, Jack Darby finds himself in a peculiar position with the girl. Even though he is terrified of her, the girl seems to be intrigued. He does not understand at first, until she eventually explains the possible reason. He finds himself uncertain by the development, but realizes that he might be able to help her. The autobots are now stuck fighting a war with the autobots, and learning of the horror of the girl's past. They search for the people responsible for the illegal experimentation that has caused the girl to lose her identity, and become something people would see as a monster. Worse still, the fate of her own life depends on these people. It becomes obvious when the human part of her slowly begins to disappear, losing control of herself and sense of self, until the autobots figure out how to help her and keeping her away from the monsters who destroyed her. Only not knowing if they could ever fix her without stripping the very human side of her forever.

Information that she thought was a dream, along with the displeasure coming from the leader, believing she needs to be dealt with. When she does manage to flee and attempt to get back to her boyfriend, bricks of truths fall upon her in ways she never imagined. And when the autobots find her again, she finds a new friend within the autobot who came to her by chance when she bought herself a new car. Even Optimus will feel his wall fall away slowly the more time is spent with this girl. And he learns there is more to humans than meets the eye. And when a darker threat reveals itself in a way they never though possible, and a possible way back to Cybertron, Optimus sees the courage in this girl even more. Especially when she finds herself wanting to help them get back home. Something he finds himself surprised that she is willing to help him. It is as if something has changed, and he did not know why or how that is possible. And soon enough, his cold exterior may have just fallen away. Or could his processor be mistaken?
